Empowering Micronesian Communities

Founded in response to the unique challenges faced by Micronesian communities in Oregon, the Micronesian Islander Community (MIC) was established to provide essential support and resources. Over the years, MIC has developed various programs that promote cultural awareness, address pressing social needs, and foster economic development, all while advocating for justice and community empowerment.

The Micronesian Islander Community grew from grassroots efforts to uplift Micronesians in Oregon, offering education, support services, and advocacy. Today, MIC continues to strengthen community ties and promote cultural identity through its initiatives.

Starting as a small support group, MIC has evolved into a vital non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Micronesian Islanders in Oregon with essential resources and advocacy.
