Sandra D. Mincer has been involved in volunteer and leadership work since 1987. She is currently a Certified Community Health Worker through the State of Oregon (CHW Registration Number THW000002913). She is committed to her calling and very involved with her community. Sandra is currently serving many communities in various capacities such as: MIC CHW, Treasurer of the Rengelekel Belau of Oregon, Co-Treasurer of Friends of Milwaukie Inc. – a division of North Clackamas Parks & Recreation District, Program Ambassador & Contractor of COFA CANN, Chairperson of the Pacific Islanders Coalition, member of the national COFA-CLAN, State of Oregon Qualified Health Care Interpreter (Lic. Number 010609) & Palau language interpreter and translator. She is passionate in bringing awareness to the underserved community, especially the COFA Island Nations. Sandra enjoys collaborating and advocating for her community members. Before becoming a CHW, Sandra worked in the financial industry for 28 years. She graduated from Eastern Oregon University with a Bachelor of Arts double degree, in Business & Economics with a specialization in Business Administration. She has a cheerful personality and a can-do attitude. Sandra is married, has two sons, two grandsons and two chihuahuas – who are the world to her. She enjoys nature and quite time - so she can feel the nature around her and hear herself think. Her go to happiness and relaxation are family, yoga, ocean/swimming and gardening. Namaste. Mesulang.
